Back on track, Not Giving UP…

I swam this morning despite yesterday’s Wednesdays hellish migraine attack. I was afraid to swim on Thursday morning, considering the fact that I could feel my heartbeat behind my neck and I couldn’t see very well.

Wednesday I developed a migraine after accidentally eating food that had casein in it (allergic) and it beat the heck out of me all day. I didn’t stop working, and I didn’t stop thinking about work, until I was able to fall asleep. Thursday the alarm went off at 5:30 but I couldn’t overcome the pain enough to stand up for a long time. I wanted to swim so badly. But I promised myself that I wouldn’t stop swimming, so this morning I got up and got moving even though I took one day off.

Glad you got in a swim. But remember to give yourself a break if you need it. Your body needs rest too.

Sometimes a day off helps you get back into it even more… sometimes a few days off like me, sucks and you get out of the groove!
